We like to bring on team members that will do what is right to take care of our clients.  This means we are problem solvers.  Yes, we sell and service Avaya and Panasonic telephone systems, structured cabling, Access Control, CCTV and Fire Systems, but this all equates to solving our clients problems.  If we take care of our clients, they will take care of us!  Because we do this well, we don’t lose our clients.

B2B Sales Associate

We are a full service communications company serving telecommunication needs for businesses in greater Philadelphia, SE Pennsylvania and northern MD areas. Merlin is currently seeking a self-directed, enthusiastic sales associate to join our team on a full-time basis.

Candidate should be an individual who wants the opportunity to build a substantial income by selling phone systems, security cameras, access control devices, and structured cabling services to new and existing customers. 

The following credentials are preferred:

  • Three years of proven demonstrated effective selling experience, preferably in selling business services
  • Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
  • Good organizational skills
  • Intermediate computer skills such as Word, Excel, email, Internet
  • Experience or knowledge of consultative selling philosophy is a plus
  • Highly disciplined, organized self-manager
  • Capacity to initiate and leverage contacts to build new business referrals

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead sales resource for incoming sales calls
  • Cultivate existing accounts; identify, contact and develop new account relationships
  • Prepare and deliver sales and training presentations to customers
  • Correspond with customer service department to ensure customer concerns are resolved in a timely manner and exceed client expectations


We are a full service communications company serving telecommunication needs for businesses in greater Philadelphia, SE Pennsylvania and northern MD areas. 

The Right Fit:
Are you motivated to get out of bed each morning to work with (not for) a company that values each member of the team because our team does what is right for our clients?  Do you have the skillset to be the technician clients want to have help them fix their problems?   These skills include:

  • Communicate effectively.  For a communications company, this is important!
  • Record time and materials used on daily work assignments.
  • Complete required paperwork including timesheets, service orders, and various other information.
  • BICSI certification preferred.
  • Experience with Avaya and/or Panasonic systems helpful but not required.
  • Have basic hand tools for the telecommunications industry.
  • Maintain cable systems by installing, repairing, programming and upgrading cable infrastructure.
  • Perform major and minor preventive maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting cabling systems issues.
  • Assist co-workers with installation and routine maintenance of systems
  • Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push 75 lbs.
  • Some travel.
  • Experience with TigerPaw helpful.
