Mark Dixon

President/CEO

Mark founded DenMark Business Solutions in Lewisberry PA 18 years ago and then expanded his business by acquiring Merlin Communications at the start of 2018. Mark’s technology know-how runs deep and wide and he is very excited to share his expertise with his clients. Mark is a proud member of the Mechanicsburg Rotary and is extremely proud of Merlin’s deep roots in the community and surrounding areas.

VP of Sales & Marketing

Nick has played many roles during his nearly 5 years at Merlin Communications and his vast knowledge of the communications industry makes him a key asset as Merlin continues to grow throughout the region.

Dustin Dixon

VP of Operations

Dustin has done a tremendous amount during his 15 years in the telecommunications industry. He has done everything from structured cabling, cell phone tower radio-head and base stations to climbing telephone poles and lashing fiber optic cable. Dustin is a BICSI Certified Technician and hold numerous manufacturing certifications including: Corning, Sumitomo FutureFlex Blown Fiber, Lencore Sound Masking, Levition, Ortronics, Panduit, 3M, Commscope, and OSHA/MSHA. When Dustin is not at work, he is constantly thinking about Merlin and how to improve what we do. Dustin has been married to his amazing wife Stephanie for 8 years, have an awesome 6-year-old son and are expecting a beautiful daughter very shortly. In his family’s free time they like to get together with our families as well as watch their son play soccer. Dustin would like to add one additional message: GO STEELERS!!!

Sarah Dixon

Business Development

Sarah started out in an administrative role with Merlin Communications in February of 2019. In her time with the company, she has moved into a sales position, focusing on the ins and outs of live streaming devices and implementation. Sarah grew up in Lewisberry, PA and graduated from Red Land High School. She now resides in Etters, PA with her fiancé Joshua, their sons Alexander and Rider, and their dogs Everette and Maxie. Sarah has an outgoing personality and strives to help others in everything she does.

Pete Aguirre

Systems Technician

Pete started his career in 1971 as an installer. Throughout the years he has worked as an installer repairman with AT&T, Lucent Technologies, DSIC, and Avaya Inc. Pete retired in March of 2009 and joined the Merlin Communications team in October of 2010. Pete has experience working with Avaya Definity and Communication Manager, IP Office, Partner Systems, Merlin Magix, and Panasonic systems. Pete is also certified in Convergence Technology Professional (CTP), Comtia Network +, ACA with IP Telephony, and ACA with Modular Messaging. When Pete is not spending quality time with his wife, two daughters, and their families, he can be found studying all types of history. Some of Pete’s hobbies include Civil War reenactments, traveling, and doing anything outdoors.

Chris Robinson

Systems Technician

Chris has been with Merlin Communications for more than 15 years and working in telecommunications for more than 30. Chris started out in telecommunications at CHI Institute where he studied Computer Engineering Technology. After graduation, he jumped straight into the field and has been utilizing his vast knowledge base ever since. Chris has certifications in; Avaya networking, IP Telephony, Intuity Audix, and LAN Workgroup. He has formally studied; G3I/G3S/G3VS installation and Definity ECS, PBX data connectivity, Intuity messaging solutions installation and maintenance, Avaya S8100 & S8300 media server configuration, installation, and maintenance, along with fiber optic installation and splicing. Some of Chris’s hobbies include beekeeping and working on projects around his house.

Brett Meeks

Systems Technician

Prior to joining the Merlin Communications team, Brett spent a decade at a large manufacturing facility working on detailed orders and exacting specifications. Brett’s background prepared him for his role as a technician in the telecommunications industry. Brett has a degree in Computer Science in which he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Brett has also completed the Avaya Technician course. Brett has worked on several large-scale projects involving Avaya IP Office deployment, Structured Cabling, and Security Systems. His approach to every project is to provide quality service that exceeds customer expectations.

Meghan Humes

Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher

Meghan is Merlin Communications’ administrative assistant. Meghan is a 2013 graduate of Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School and she completed her bachelor’s degree at Duquesne University with a major in Organizational Leadership. Meghan has a background in customer service and enjoys working with others and meeting new people along the way. Although Meghan is new to the telecommunications field, she looks forward to learning new things every day and finding new ways to apply what she learns. Outside of work, Meghan enjoys spending time with her daughter, Lilah and her Yorkshire Terrier named Stella.
